Girls Tuition program

Join the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in an effort to provide scholarships for 2,000 Malawian girls for all four years of secondary school. Priority will be given to girls from rural areas of Malawi who are most in danger of missing out on an education. Local Parent Teacher Associations will identify those most in need, including orphans and other vulnerable children.

Every day, millions of children throughout Africa struggle to learn while sitting on the floor or on the ground outdoors. Giving them a desk, where they can write and concentrate, is the first step towards creating an educational system that attracts, and keeps, eager young students. Join the U.S. Fund for UNICEF and MSNBC’s “The Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell” in an ambitious campaign called K.I.N.D.: Kids in Need of Desks to provide tens of thousands of desks to hundreds of schools in Malawi.

Putting the Long-Term Unemployed Back to Work

The WorkPlace developed Platform to Employment (P2E) to address the need for the long term unemployed to return to work and the employer need to recruit skilled workers. The program is a public-private partnership which gives businesses a risk-free opportunity to evaluate and consider hiring participants during an eight-week work experience program

Together we’re transforming public education in the United States through our school in Las Vegas and by influencing state and national policy. Since the inception of the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education in 1994, $177 million dollars has been raised to benefit the mission of the Foundation including $118 million from the Grand Slam for Children fundraising event.

Three Square

Your contributions of food, funds and time go directly to support the many hunger relief programs offered by Three Square Food Bank. These programs benefit over 600 Program Partners in Southern Nevada including food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, after-school programs, senior citizens and more. Our Program Partners receive food from Three Square and distribute it to Southern Nevadan’s in need through their pantry and on-site meal programs.
